Social Ministry
Social ministry is an apostolate that the Franciscan Sisters of St. Anna (FSSA) are involved in to provide services to others through works of charity and justice.
As the apostolates for the FSSA expands with the signs of time, more doors have been opened for social works. The FSSA work with HIV/AIDS patients. The sisters have support centers within the health facilities where they meet these patients weekly. They listen to them, encourages them and reassures them to be positive in life.
The sisters also care for vulnerable children, work with youth groups, women groups and provides guiding and counselling to those in need. Through well wishers and benefactors, vulnerable children are educated and women are empowered and supported to be self reliant.
